    Sourcing Analyst

    Job Description
    Visa Global Sourcing 

    • Global Sourcing is part of the Finance organization and manages Visa’s end to end sourcing and procurement of goods and services. Sourcing is responsible for partnering with business owners to lead all strategic sourcing activities globally to ensure optimal selection of suppliers that deliver best value in price and quality, while minimizing risk to Visa.

    Responsibilities:

    • Verify purchase requests for accuracy, completion, required approvals, and compliance with contract.  Follow up with stakeholders to properly complete requests across the CEMEA Region.
    • Verify risk has been assessed for each purchase and identify potential risks that have been added to a project without a risk assessment.
    • Engages and establishes business partnerships with cross functional leadership across Visa to collaborate, influence, and drive efficient buying strategies.
    • Interact with vendors to resolve transactional issues daily.
    • Coordinate with CEMEA Sourcing Analysts and Category Managers to assist in sourcing initiatives.
    • Ensure accuracy of order placement to contract as well as terms and conditions with the vendor.
    • Address all inquiries on order status of product and services.
    • Collaborate with business units and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies related to procurement issues.
    • Respond to inquiries and issues from internal customers.
    • Prioritize requests from internal customers into urgent vs. non urgent requests.
    • Perform administrative duties including drafting of Work Statements, metrics reporting, data entry into different procurement systems.
    • Interface with Accounts Payable for payment issues relating to vendors.
    • Draft and execute low to moderately complex contracts and orders.
    • Deliver procurement and systems support to internal customers over the phone and via email in an effective and efficient manner. 
    • Troubleshoot internal customer issues regarding the services provided by Procurement Operations.
    • Document the problem and provide appropriate follow up to meet internal customer service levels.
    • Supports the implementation of Global Sourcing policies and procedures.
    • Maintains strong external focus by leveraging industry peers, organizations, associations and by continuing to build strong relationships outside of Visa.
    • Provides high level guidance on the overall sourcing and buying process, from needs identification, through to supplier payment and performance management.
    • Strong relationship-building skills
    • Strong analytical skills, e.g, advanced excel, reporting and analytics.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills, English required, Ukrainian and Russian a plus.
    • Logical based reasoning and recommendations
    • Service delivery oriented, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a result driven discipline

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or business equivalent
    • 5 years or greater, of purchasing or buying experience, working on procurement tools, contract management tools, or other processing software e.g, Ariba, SAP, Oracle
    • Understanding of company policies and procedures and their application to the processing of transactions, e.g, processing purchase requisitions, processing purchase orders, modifying purchase orders, executing bidding for small dollar transactions, executing RFP's, NDA’s and reviewing risk ratings as required
    • Operates independently and successfully within a matrix or team structure
    • Knowledgeable about contract terms and conditions
    • Experience in managing internal customers and users, e.g, customer care, customer help, phone based training, coaching and guidance.
    • High level of self motivation and initiative, and ability to effectively as a team player or independently a times.
    • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on course of action
    • Proficient user of all Microsoft Office products
    • International business experience is a plus
    • Understanding of process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies
    • Professional accreditation in sourcing or procurement a plus
