Sourcing Manager Ingredients at Distell

Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based at Distell Libertas in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will report to the Group Procurement Category Manager: Directs.

Key Performance Areas Include

• Category Management: in depth knowledge of commodity in terms of products, suppliers, demand, innovation and risks
• Supplier Relationship Management: drive price, quality, service, innovation, transformation and sustainability agenda for the group
• Cost of Goods Sold and Working Capital Management: control value chain costs, guide budget and mandate discussion and drive fit for purpose portfolio
• Procurement Governance
• Personal and Peer Development

Qualification Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Procurement or Engineering
• Professional accreditation advantageous
• Min 3 year relevant working experience in a senior supply chain role
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of relevant category advantageous
• Experience in strategic sourcing events and e-procurement tools advantageous
