QUALIFICATION:

3 Year Degree in a Technical or Commerce field of study

EXPERIENCE:

4 year’s related experience in a mining environment with technical & business exposure in Business Intelligence (BI) & Business Data Analytics

SPECIFICATION EXPERIENCE:

• High level of proficiency in business data analytics & related ICT tools & Business Intelligence
• Database design/data structures & analytical tools
• Extraction & interpretation of business data & conversion into business reports
• Annual Budget planning exposure
• SAP experience 

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Business & Data Analysis & Reporting 

• Receives reporting requests, assesses complexity, plans, and schedules delivery of report (s)
• Engage ICT when data updates occur or system changes
• Analyses interpret & compiles data from data structures & tables
• Importing data into Excel and merging data sets for the analysis of information
• Analyzing data for root causes & deviations from the plan
• Performs SAP reporting on PowerBI or other reporting tools

Minning Operations Budget Coordination

• Coordinates with leadership on mining operations’ budget plan & process
• Assists with annual budgeting coordination
• Collating various budget submissions & validating the correctness
• Produces budget reports & graphs as per leadership requirement
• Liaising with Operations leadership on data outputs required
• Creating budgeting reports, graphs & anthe analyzing for the review process
• Compressing data & highlighting trend deviations on the operational plan, band-creep, and a variation on head count.
• Reports BPC output reports, graphs & analytics e.g, year-on-year increases, and SVM variances.
