Specialist, Commercial Asset Finance at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To achieve the Commercial Asset Finance (CAF) sales performance objectives by implementing approved asset-based finance transactions to both new and existing customers, for an allocated portfolio, within the Western Cape province across segments and sectors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting 
• Minimum 3- 4 years’ experience sales experience in Commercial Asset Finance.
• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in preparing credit motivations.
• Experience in general banking ecosystem. Demonstrated understanding of balance sheets and interpreting financial statements.
• Must have completed Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) and Regulatory Exam requirements (RE 5) (Non Negotiable)

• Legislative knowledge - Clear knowledge and application of the legal and regulatory aspects of the organization and Commercial Asset Finance
• Comminication - Applies concepts without requiring supervision, able to provide technical guidance when required
