    Specialist: Pricing Analytics (FLV)

    About the job

    • Management of offer pricing parameters on all New and Used Car Stock available for sale.
    • Management and administration of all pricing parameters on BMW SA Pricing tool.
    • Regular review of stock pricing on Digital Customer Front-End to ensure complete transparency for prospects and customers.
    • Discuss and recommend pricing parameter changes with all Key Channel managers for all stock (Corporate, Diplomat, Used Cars etc.).
    • Review market analysis and forecasting of competitor pricing and sales performance to make recommendations on changes required to pricing parameters.
    • Review and analyse internal Sales Reporting statistics to make recommendations on changes required to pricing parameters.
    • Work closely with supply management team to understand stock by model, specification and ageing. Make recommendations to adjust pricing parameters accordingly.
    • Implement and action pricing parameter changes as instructed by Sales Development Manager and Financial Controlling.
    • Ensure Internal Controls Processes are adhered to when implementing any pricing parameter changers.
    • Creating, managing and implementing any additional tasks as required by the Line Manager.

    You will ensure overall compliance to ICS (Internal Controls Systems).

    Education and competencies

    • B Degree / Diploma in Commerce, preferably with a Business/Financial /Economics.
    • 3-5 years’ motor industry experience in a planning or analytical role.
    • Good product knowledge preferable.
    • Understanding of retail financing market essential.
    • Strong communication and relationship building skills with ability to work in a matrix organisation.
    • Ability to operate in an intercultural environment.
    • High analytical, strategic and conceptual skills.
    • High motivation and results oriented.
    • Independent, intrinsically motivated, innovative, proactive.
    • Focus upon attention to detail (numerical and written).
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • Proven track record within the automotive industry, preferably with previous experience in an analytical position.
    • A good degree of commercial / financial awareness together with a sound understanding of the South African car market and the BMW / MINI / Motorrad retail partner network.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel.
    • High computer skills, with ability to work with complex and detailed computer systems preferred.
