Specialist, Product Control, Global Markets at Standard Chartered Bank

 JOB DESCRIPTION

The Change manager will primarily be responsible for identifying and implementing financial process improvements which support Product Controls’ reconciliation and substantiation of the balance sheet and income statement for GM, including daily Profit and Loss reporting and validation process. This role will include building relationships with internal and external stakeholders (to the division) to drive change initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification required

• CA (SA)
• Honours Degree in Finance and Accounting

Experience required

• At least 5-7 years experience in Product Control. Experience in a change role is preferable.
• Excellent banking knowledge with preference to candidates with prior exposure to investment banking and derivative products.
• Preferred experience in Valuation adjustments (XVA). Strong understanding of finance principles. Solid understanding of broader finance environment as well as broad based trading and finance system knowledge
• Experience in leading finance projects and provide detailed explanations around trading positions to Global Markets heads
