Sports’ Officer - Glenwood at University of KwaZulu-Natal

Job description
Main duties include

• Providing support and guidance to sports clubs; administrating all matters pertaining to the department's sports codes
• Arranging coaching; Encouraging participation and liaising with relevant sports bodies and sponsors
• Overseeing sports facilities, coordinating use and ensuring the maintenance of facilities
• Guiding students in planning and administration of sports clubs, managing meetings, managing budgets
• Project management of events for allocated sports codes as well as supporitng the department with coordination of major events

Minimum requirements

• A 3-year qualification in sport science or human movement science or sports administration
• 2 years' relevant work experience in sport administration
• A thorough background or knowledge of university sport
• A valid and unendorsed drivers' licence.
