Sprinkler Fire Protection Draughtsman - Revit - R660k - R360k at Hire Resolve

One of the foremost leaders in the South African fire protection industry, renowned for its extensive range of services encompassing Fire Detection, Fire Equipment, Fire CO2 Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, and Passive Fire, is actively seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Fire Protection Draughtsman to become an integral part of their team based in Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification / certificate in draughting or mechanical engineering.
• A.S.I.B. Certificate would be beneficial.
• 5+ years’ experience as a draughtsman, preferably in the field of fire protection systems.
• Capable of conducting hydraulic calculations for fire sprinklers.
• Proficiency in Revit software is highly advantageous.
• Own reliable transport.

Responsibilities:

• Project Design of Fire Protection Systems.
• Completion and record flow tests as required.
• Completion of site surveys and site measures as and when required.
• Preparing of drawings as per tender requirements.
• Running hydraulics and determining pipe sizing.
• Ensure drawing approval prior to deadline and fabrication dates.
• Produce a fabrication list with all stock and pricing details.
• Compile O&M manuals and ASIB documents.
• Close Liaison with consultants and customers.
• All other related duties as requested from time to time from Management.
