What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

• Integration of new sources of data into company databases so that it can also be analyzed and included in relevant processes and reports.
• Integration of data into relevant workflow processes, with the specific aim of continuously improvement and data optimization.
• Work with all levels of development from analysis through implementation and support.
• Develop and test issues aligned to specifications.
• Work with the project team across functional areas.
• Analysis of data from various sources to ensure that the business acts proactively on the information at its disposal.
• Continually searching for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyze data that is relevant to the company’s business model.
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement     Experience performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Identify ways to improve data.
• Support legacy SQL server systems in a business-critical context.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

• Undergraduate degree with majors in Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar.
• 3 years’ work experience in a business intelligence role
• 3-5 Years’ experience with relational databases, writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience optimising T-SQL queries.
• Experience of relational data modelling (Normal Form, etc)
• Experience building data pipelines.
• Data visualization and reporting experience.
• Be able to give accurate technical estimates.
• Conceptualizing new solutions based on business requirements.
• Demonstrates consistent behaviour aligned to the Organizational Culture.
