Requirements    

• NQF5 and above
• Tertiary qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain – advantageous
• 3 -5 years’ Teams/people management experience
• 3 -5 years’ experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level within the Food manufacturing: Warehouse environment
• Business English: Fluent 
• Computer literacy (Intermediate) 
• Available to Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities    
Monitor and control stock  

• Monitor, administer and coordinate all stock movements (order, receive, transfer, dispatch and administer stock on hand)  
• Adhere to stock functions in accordance with the RH instruction and quarterly logistics & financial audit  
• Assist with quarterly financial stock counts  
• Conduct cycle counts (daily, weekly & monthly)  
• Monitor the quality of receiving stock e.g. raw and packaging material according to relevant standards 
• Control optimal stock levels, using the MRP and 12 week master plan  
• Report on all stock related issues  
• Monitor the quality System on LX – Expiry dates, Q status, Lot Control, QNON stock, RMA’s

Perform administrative duties 

• Ensure data/transactions are properly recorded and entered into the Clover accounting system  
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks/requests  
• Assist with compilation of annual fixed and variable cost budgets  
• Ensure return documentation e.g. containers/pallet counts are captured  
• Capture and ensure that transactions on LX systems take place  
• Create purchase orders for consumables and lab testing materials  
• Calculate transfer prices  
• Control own fixed cost  

Manage staff   

• Ensure optimal utilization of staff  
• Apply consistent discipline  
• Train and develop staff  
• Conduct meetings and ensure effective communication to all  
• Establish continuous improvement practices  
• Liaise and communicate with management in all departments  
• Provide leadership and training to artisans.  
• Set objectives, manage and measure performance of subordinates
