Job Description

• Hyundai Automotive South Africa is looking for a Senior Stock Controller who will be responsible for overseeing stock control and full logistics operations within the distribution function.
• The role ensures efficient stock management, timely delivery to dealers, and the optimisation of warehouse and distribution processes to support business objectives and customer satisfaction. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee all stock control functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Handle full logistics operations including ordering, shipping, storage, transportation, and delivery to dealers
• Plan and deliver services that exceed customer expectations across all distribution activities
• Manage invoicing processes, including price list updates and reporting
• Utilise Excel (formulas, pivot tables) for reporting and data analysis
• Ensure effective warehouse operations and implement strategies to optimise service delivery to the dealer network
• Monitor and manage the rental agency fleet distribution process to ensure deadlines are met
• Apply strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment
• Maintain and apply knowledge of various distribution methods and best practices
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders
• Foster a productive and engaging work environment, working both independently and within a team
• Identify and resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior stock control role
• Proven experience working with Inventory Management Systems (IMS)
• Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution processes
