Job Advert Summary

Store Persons manage the storage and safekeeping of goods in a store or warehouse. They receive goods from suppliers, check the goods for damage and store it appropriately. They track the movement of goods and are responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods. They are also responsible for ordering goods to maintain sufficient levels of stock.

Minimum Requirements    

• Senior Certificate or tertiary qualification
• 2 years experience in the management of spare parts, preferably in a distribution or warehouse environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience in a CMMS is beneficiary)
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Maintaining the CMMS
• Generating and Maintaining Work Orders
• Spare Part Management
• Effective communication lines and relationships with team and client on site
