Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate levels of technical and non-technical stock.
• Ensure that the stock in the stores is secured and kept in an orderly and tidy fashion.
• Receive and issue stock in accordance with company procedure.
• Conduct stock counts on a regular basis.
• Ensure that information about stock received and issued is captured accurately on the stock management system.
• Effective stock control in terms of capturing and issuing of parts and consumables to off-set shrinkage.  This aspect will be measured by Stock Audits.
• Provide feedback and critical observation to the Store Supervisor on daily issues and performance. 
• Ensure a high level of customer service is provided and maintained.
• Adhere to the TFS’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies and Procedures of as applicable to this position.
• Any reasonable action requested by management.

Qualifications

• Grade 12.
• A tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
• 2 years clerical experience in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures.
• Computer Literate MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook).
