    Strategic Account Manager

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop strong mid- to long-term plans in conjunction with accounts to drive growth and operational efficiency
    • Ensure that account plans are up to date and communicated upwards
    • Data based decision making to understand the performance of initiatives to prioritise those with the highest return on investment
    • Establish deep working relationships based on mutual value, extending beyond transactional interactions alone. Handle expectations with accounts and balances the requirement of their portfolio
    • Understand the special needs of the accounts, supervise industry and competitive trends and creates plans to address operational gaps
    • Lead contract transactions to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
    • Build long-term relationships by creating customer value, opportunities for growth, and stickiness (improving defects, operational efficiencies, etc.)
    • Increases restaurant participation through deep knowledge of program opportunities. Consider the outstanding needs of their account and adapt approach as required
    • Build detailed project plans with project stages, breakthroughs, basic interdependencies, and owners
    • Regularly reviews performance in a structured, visible way to measure progress, keep everyone engaged, and realign team(s) as needed
    • Cohesively work with a cross-functional team. Manages and owns collaboration and coordination with other teams as needed for their projects
    • Builds and maintains knowledge management tools such as playbooks and shared drives
    • Designs and implements growth initiatives such as adding locations, experimenting with new business models (eg. dark kitchens) or growing same-location sales
       

    What You’ll Need

    • Min 3 yrs of sales, account management or other relationship management experience with excellent business insight
    • Desire to work with top restaurants and building a business together
    • Extraordinary listening, communication and persuasion skills
    • Problem solving skills and think out of the box approx to fix it
    • Data driven demeanor and capability to run analysis and/or understand data and transform it into relevant insights
    • Project Management skill with good organization, time management skills, highly autonomous and work with minimal oversight
    • Speediness and resourcefulness, analytics and comfortable with talking to data
