Strategic Procurement Manager at Tsebo Solution

• Tsebo International is seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to lead procurement transformation across our international operations.
• Reporting to the CEO / Managing Director, this senior leadership role will drive the transformation of procurement across Tsebo International. The successful candidate will lead regional procurement teams, strengthen procurement governance, improve spend visibility, drive strategic sourcing and supplier performance, and deliver sustainable value through procurement excellence across multiple African markets.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Drive procurement transformation initiatives that improve governance, spend visibility, supplier performance, compliance, and value delivery across the region.
• Lead strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management initiatives across multiple countries. 
• Drive procurement governance, compliance, and best practice across the region.
• Identify and deliver sustainable cost savings and procurement value creation opportunities.
• Provide oversight of international sourcing activities and regional procurement performance.
• Lead and develop Regional Procurement Managers and procurement teams across the business.
• Drive supplier performance, contract management, and procurement risk mitigation strategies.
• Leverage procurement data, reporting, and analytics to support executive decision making.

Qualifications    

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10 to 15 years' experience within Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a senior procurement leadership role.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management. 
• Experience managing procurement functions across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and stakeholder management capability.
• Professional procurement certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM will be advantageous.
