    Strategy Developer West & Central

    Job Summary: 

    • Designs, develops, and implements marketing programs and strategies to support the organization's products and services within the regional market.
    • Utilizes specific marketing strategies and media, including print, broadcast, and digital, to effectively launch and position products.
    • Plans, develops, and delivers comprehensive marketing strategies for products and associated brands, while evaluating and managing product/brand, including budgeting and return on investment. 

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with sales and technical teams to identify and implement targeted marketing strategies and programs.
    • Engage in face- to-face and remote sales efforts to new and existing customers, assessing their needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
    • Provides customer service and support related to product inquiries and issue resolution, with compensation tied to the achievement of sales targets.
    • Responsible for the strategy and branding coordination for the West and Central Region
    • Responsible for developing customer-facing squad-focused marketing plans and implementing the RSA Go-To-Market (GtM) strategy and campaigns for key farmer and channel segments within their customer-facing squad.
    • Drive GTM strategy, squad focused activation & squad marketing plans.
    • Liaising and feeding back insights and local marketing plans to GTM team in Value Proposition supporting Squad.
    • Achieve sustainable profitability and market share consistent with the KPI’s, by satisfying current and future customer needs through tailored solutions.
    • Enable Customer Facing Squad to execute effectively on their Go-To- Market strategies.
    • Develop & implement short, mid-term integrated marketing strategies and campaigns in CF Squad, in alignment with GTM, cluster and regional crop strategies to address customer segment needs and requirements Ensure that GTM strategies are effectively implemented through tactical marketing plans based on customer segmentation
    • Define product/solution needs to achieve squad strategies and collaborate with cluster crop teams to ensure availability of such products/solutions
    • Develop value proposition of products and tailored solutions based on collaboration with customer facing squad and Value proposition supporting squad.
    • Manage and co-ordinate pricing and market funding strategy as part of the GtM strategy to ensure profitable business growth for customer facing squad.
    • Collaborate with commercial operations squad to plan and implement tailored, crop system and OBM solutions and translate into marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Act as the key marketing contact for the region between customer facing squads and supporting squads ensuring effective implementation of GtM strategy and regular feedback.
    • Analyze market, macro-trends, customer needs and competitor strategies to identify new business opportunities based upon unmet needs of current and new customers.
    • Collaborate with business intelligence and customer insight team to generate necessary customer insight to develop customer centric marketing strategies and aligned campaigns
    • Collaboratively coordinate with the customer facing squad and unit support squad to address needs and evaluate GtM strategies.
    • Support efficient implementation of key Stewardship measures as part of the GtM strategy and tailored crop solution.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the development and effective implementation of GtM strategies.
    • Contribute to a customer centric and ‘on the ground’ Customer Marketing Team and place customer needs, value proposition and practical implementation central to all decision making.
    • Identify new and innovative (disruptive) ways to drive and grow the business within the customer facing squad.
    • Support license to operate plans and activities
    • Define customer experience and value proposition driven by the trend to attract new customers and to drive brand loyalty in a given competitive landscape
    • Develop brand messaging & communication strategy – elevator speech, tagline, campaign themes, proof points, etc.
    • Monitor consistent application of brand messaging throughout the campaign

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or Marketing/Business administration
    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in agricultural marketing or commercial
    • Business and customer centric minded
    • Ability to drive change in complex and stable organization while not being disruptive to the business.
    • Ability to collaborate/communicate with and develop internal and external partnerships
    • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel / Power Point / Word) a prerequisite
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Fluent in English, oral and written, is required.
