    Student Life Programme Coordinator

    About the Job

    Job Advert Summary

    • Oversee the effective and efficient collaboration between Student Life and Student Affairs of the University to provide information, data and opportunities in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Engagements with NSFAS, University Residence Placement Officers, SRC and University.
    • Crisis management, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed including written reports, implemented actions and issues reviewed.

    Minimum Requirements
    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Matric), Relevant Diploma or Degree in Marketing. Public Relations, Communications.

    Experience

    • A minimum of 2-3 years’ marketing experience in student accommodation or any marketing industry.
    • Strong Proficiency in relevant computer packages (MS Office) and software packages.
    • Excellent attention to detail and numerate accuracy.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Programme Management
      • Manage all stakeholder relationships across the entire portfolio and all regions.
      • Oversee and manage welcoming program for all new students.
      • Manage good order in alignment with the House Rules and Building Rules.
      • Hire, train, supervise and coach House Committee members at the accommodation for successful year of program implementation with assistance from the student life manager.
      • Support the intake and vacate process.
      • Overall success of structures for student life management with assistance from the student life manager
      • Implementation and Execution of student life management.
      • Preparation and Implementation of emergency protocols.
      • Provide administrative support to the student accommodation on-site teams and undertake any duties as appropriately tasked.
      • Social Media management of the student accommodation social accounts.
    • Student Accommodation Offering
      • Participates in a variety of meetings, committees, and teams to communicate information regarding services, programs, areas of opportunity, and information as appropriate.
      • Participates in service model goal setting and planning, including short-term and long-term planning.
      • Collects and analyzes a variety of data and information across various spectrums of the building as requested.
      • Develops and strengthens co-operative relationships relevant University support departments.
