    Succession opportunity: Administrator - Human Resources - Rivonia

    Main Purpose: To ensure that all leave are captured and monitored and general HR administrative duties are carried out accurately, within specified timelines.

    Key Performance Areas:

    Leave administration

    • Approve all leave and person details on the Web SS system.
    • Attend to and rectify Employees’ difficulties with the Webb SS system.
    • Check correctness of leave balances of all Employees (salaries and wages) on a monthly basis.
    • Create monthly annual and sick leave balance reports for the Directors.
    • Create monthly annual and sick leave balances and sick leave transaction report for the HR Manager.
    • Create unpaid leave report for the Payroll Department monthly

    General HR Administration

    • Process/type contracts of employment and other amendment letters.
    • Update Signature Mandates for BPA/BIA/SMA and uploading on eB.
    • Update Instructions, Policies, etc. where necessary.
    • Control all long service awards for the Employees in the Company, i.e. drawing up of lists, ordering of gifts/frames, etc., processing of signed certificates and issuing to relevant sites.
    • Issue of monthly long service and anniversary reports to the Payroll Department.
    • Issue monthly missing clocking reports to relevant Site Employees. Follow through with reminder emails and deducting Hours Accounting annual leave from Employees who do not respond.
    • Liaise with Managers on a monthly basis with regard to LDC Employees whose termination dates are due as to whether the LDC contracts should be terminated or if their contracts should be extended.
    • Proofreading when required, e.g. quarterly newsletters, etc.
    • Assist with flexitime issues, where necessary.
    • Transcribe disciplinary hearings, where necessary.
    • Any other job related duties as required from time to time.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Grade 12/N3.
    • 1 Year experience in an administrative environment.
    • Computer literate (MS Office and Adobe).
