Sunninghill Gardens | Au Pair at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties:  

• Picking up from school and transporting between school, extra murals and home in afternoon. Homework (Grade 3 and Grade 5).
• Stimulating activities for all 3 children if homework and transport completed.
• Preparing lunch for children if Nanny is not able to.
• Ensuring bags are packed for the following day.

Requirements: 

• Preferably a candidate that has experience as an au pair, no age preference, non-smoking or vaping and of sober habits, someone who has an interest in childhood development/education, someone who is caring and nurturing and with a friendly disposition who is able to keep up with 3 energetic children, someone who is alert and highly safety conscious.
• They need to be flexible and adaptable. Honest and transparent.  
• Someone who does not live too far is preferable.
• We are a Christian family and a Christian candidate would be preferable but not a mandatory requirement.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
