Supervisor Engineering Services at Sibanye-Stillwater

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Have a matric (Grade 12 Qualification).
• Be in possession of a valid N3 Certificate or equivalent.
• Be a qualified Engineering Artisan with a valid Boilermaker Trade Test.
• Have a relevant Foreman’s Certificate of competency.
• Have 5 years’ experience in Supervisory capacity.

The Appointee should:

• Have a matric Certificate (Grade 12 Qualification).
• Be in possession of a valid N3 Certificate or equivalent.
• Be a qualified Engineering Artisan with a valid Boilermaker Trade Test.
• Have a relevant Foreman’s Certificate of competency.
• Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an artisan.
• Have 5 years’ experience in Supervisory capacity.
• Be in possession of TQM (Total Quality Management) Qualification.
• You must be technically experienced in Mining Equipment, Rail Bound Equipment, manufacturing of steel structures and Rail Bound equipment, Ventilation Fans and Process Plants.
• Be prepared to work extended hours on an ad hoc basis.
• Be willing to travel between provinces.
• Be computer literate (Microsoft Office Package) and proficient in SAP, Coupa and IMS system.
• Be in possession of a Valid South African Driver’s License
• Demonstrate good communication and leadership skills.
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
• Have a Clear security screening record.

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Electrical/Mechanical trade Qualifications will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 systems will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be able to project manage on smaller scale projects.
• Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks.
• Failure analysis reporting.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs).
• Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment.
• Conduct site tender meetings.
• Conduct holding point inspections and Final assessment testing.
• Draw up scope of works and repair standards.
