    Assistant Case Management Enrolled Nurse

    The Appointee should:

    • NQF 5 (Enrolled Nurse, ICD 10 Coder) (Qualifications as approved by the SA Nursing Council).

    Unit Manager Commodity

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma).

    The Appointee should:

    • DMR Blasting Certificate (post 1 June 2017) or DMR recognised Mining Operations Level 2 (MQA) and Rock Breaker Level 3 (MQA).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Legal, operational and standard compliance.     Minimum Required Qualification:

    • Have a matric (Grade 12 Qualification).
    • Be in possession of a valid N3 Certificate or equivalent.
    • Be a qualified Engineering Artisan with a valid Boilermaker Trade Test.

    Winding Engine Driver SF

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or Equivalent)
    • Valid Winding Engine Certificate issued by the DMR
    • Must have driven a winder in the last 2 years as an appointed WED

    The Appointee should:

    • Onsetter’s Certificate
    • At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC Winders or proof of competency for newly qualified WED

    Additional Requirements:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Attendance & Competence Reliability  Adhere to working schedules which include overtime and standby.  Complete and pass assessments and medical screening as per schedules. Operational functionality  Physically operate the winding engine to hoist and lower men, materials and ore in the shaft in compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act chapter 16 and compliance to the SPG (Standards, Procedures and Guidelines)  Performing non routine work on the winders with engineering teams I.E changing of conveyances, cutting front ends cutting back ends and shaft repairs.  Identifying electrical and/or mechanical faults picked up during operation of winding plant and reporting to responsible artisans and foreman’s.  Identify operational problems and emergencies and act in accordance with specified requirements within area of responsibility  Operate winding engine both AC and DC winders  Assume responsibility for logbook and the completion there of  Be conversant with the Mine Health and Safety Act and any applicable Company or management instructions  Reset automatic hoist when trip-outs occur to ensure a minimum delay in hoisting time  Record conditions of winding engine daily and complete driver’s logbook as required  List stoppages and callouts and reasons daily  Perform other tasks as allocated by the supervisor with in his/her area of responsibility.  Assist engineering team with all legal inspections required on the winding engine including dailies, weeklies, the engineer trips and shaft examinations
    • Legal Compliance  Adhere to regulations and special instructions (site specific).  Identification and reporting of non-compliance incidents.  Identify hazards and take remedial measures to prevent accidents/ incidents in during winding operations.  Use signals in an appropriate manner.  Participate and assist during audits conducted on machinery.  Adhere to rules and regulations as set out in the MHS Act.  Adhere to any special instructions issued by the responsible engineer. Reporting & Administration  Report all incidents and/or accidents pertaining to the winder and/or shaft to the responsible Section Engineer and foreman.  Complete relevant documentation required.
