• An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Fresh Production Supervisor to join a dynamic manufacturing environment in Malmesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end fresh production process, ensuring that quality, productivity, hygiene, food safety, and operational targets are consistently achieved

Salary: R14 000
Minimum requirements:
Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.

Experience

• 3–5 years' operational experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory experience will be advantageous.
• Experience within a food production or meat processing environment will be beneficial.

SHEQ Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
• Enforce the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain high standards of personal and product hygiene.
• Promote a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.

Production Management

• Oversee and coordinate all fresh production processes, including mince, skin-pack, fresh cut MAP, and value-added products.
• Implement and maintain efficient production procedures and processes to optimise productivity and quality.
• Ensure products are produced according to established standards, customer requirements, and production targets.
• Manage stock control and stock rotation within the production area.
• Monitor product quality, appearance, packaging, and labelling to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are maintained throughout all production processes.
• Identify and report quality or maintenance non-conformances and implement corrective actions where required.
