About the Role

• As a Warehouse Supervisor at Mercedes-Benz Constantia Kloof, you will oversee the daily operations of our parts warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of inventory within the dealership. This role is vital in maintaining the flow of parts supply and enhancing productivity, quality control, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• You will manage the warehouse team, providing direction, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate daily operations including receiving, storing, and distributing parts, while ensuring accuracy in inventory management.
• Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational downtime.
• Monitor stock levels and perform regular inventory audits to ensure integrity and accuracy of inventory records.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations, fulfill orders, and address any operational issues promptly.
• Enforce compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track performance metrics and generate reports for analysis and improvement.

Requirements

• Proven track record in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Demonstrable experience in inventory management and logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (Kerridge).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent 
• Experience with automotive parts and understanding of related processes.
