Primary Duties
To monitor, evaluate and report on productivity management of the procurement process;
To conduct research and development that will improve the SCM model;
To implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of the SCM value chain;
To implement systems that will enable automation of the SCM value chain;
To conduct market analysis to enable Rand Water to determine the best pricing for goods/services;
To conduct comparative studies and recommend process enhancements;
To assess the efficiency of supply chain processes in conjunction with departmental and functional managers;
To ensure supply chain activities are assessed for risk and provide mitigation measures.
