• The Purpose of this role is to offer an opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in the Procurement department providing assistance to the Buyers when procuring goods and services that are essential to the business’s operations. 

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain a good working relationship with management and fellow colleagues 
• Data capturing on ERP system 
• Assist in producing reports when requested 
• Follow the procedure for procurement of goods and services 
• Assist in communicating the company’s expectations to the suppliers. 
• Work with the Planners and Buyers to track, control and track timeous delivery of goods and services 
• Assist the Buyers with requesting samples from suppliers to ensure that the product that is delivered meets the product requirements/specifications. 
• Processing of orders on the ERP system  
• Assist the team and receive purchase requisitions from our internal customers to ensure that processes and controls are adhered to. 
• Conduct supplier evaluations on an annual basis

Requirements: 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

Qualifications: 

• Grade 12 / Matric 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar
