Job Description
Key Responsibility Areas
Testing of hardware and firmware of own and third party products within the mobile video surveillance market
Testing of computer software as well as mobile phone applications
Compiling and executing of test plans
Compiling of product test reports
Provide product support to internal and external stakeholders
Take ownership of reported issues and see problems through to resolution
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve issues
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to stakeholders
Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
Prepare accurate and timely reports
Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base, tech notes and articles
Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity.
Prioritize and manage the workflow
Compile unambiguously written instructions or technical manuals
Maintain procedural documents and reports
Train people on how to use different products and systems
Monitor daily performance of product during initial release to the market
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree - Engineering
2 - 4 years new product development experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree: Engineering (Required)
