Switchboard Operator: Wadeville Regional Office (Distribution) at The Heineken Company

Purpose of the Position

To effectively handle and manage the Switchboard and Reception area at our Wadeville Regional Office. In addition, the completion of all reasonable tasks to ensure the efficiency of the office. The successful applicant would also assist and support Heineken’s endeavor to create superior customer service.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Effectively manage the switchboard
• Effectively manage reception area
• Manage the courier collections and deliveries
• Administrative duties
• Maintain good office housekeeping
• Effectively manage customer complaints
• Any other reasonable request

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Grade 12 (Matric) Qualification
• Administrative and/or Secretarial Qualification is beneficial
• Computer Literacy and experience on MS Office

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• 2 years’ experience on switchboard and/or reception
• Telephone Etiquette
• Good communication skills
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to use standard office equipment (e.g. printers, copiers etc.) and computer systems and software
• Organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of a second language is beneficial
• Ability to work without supervision
