    Engineering Specialist Electrical Control and Automation

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage a team of Electronic technicians and Electricians
    • Maintain electronic process control systems – hardware and software.
    • Ensure that installation of new process control systems is done according to company standards.
    • Maintain field hardware – loop checks / calibration, etc.
    • Review process control philosophies and recommend optimisation.
    • Audit process control programmes regularly and ensure that changes that are made are carried out according to ISO procedure.
    • Ensure update information (electrical drawing, manuals, etc) regarding electronic systems.
    • Coordinate (program) individual machine output to optimise overall line performance.
    • Ensure proper access control to electronic system.
    • Fault finding and maintaining electronic equipment.
    • Ensure current backup for electronic systems on the designated server location.
    • Perform all relevant administrative functions.
    • Provide second line problem solving across the plant during and after hours when required.
    • Improving line control systems.
    • Optimising inspection equipment.
    • Liaise with original equipment suppliers to provide support.
    • Train / coach Electronic Technicians, Electrical Artisans, and Machine Specialists.

    The successful candidate must have the following qualification, experience/skills:

    • Recognised N6 Electrical Engineering Certificate and a trade test certificate/ S4 Electrical/ Electronic National Diploma.
    • Knowledge of bottling equipment, workshop and engineering practices, tools, and apparatus.
    • Minimum of 5 years practical experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance of electronic systems
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in plc programming (Siemens)
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Networks (Profibus/Net, EtherNet, Asi, Canbus etc)
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Inspection and Coding
    • 2 years’ experience in managing a Team.
    • Knowledge of packaging/ bottling equipment
    • Have proven verbal and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations regarding tools.
    • Knowledge in FMCG environment will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of all workshop/engineering tools, machines, apparatus, and materials.
    • Computer literate, SAP, MS Word & MS Excel.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure

    Maintenance Clerk

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Assisting with maintenance planning activities (Annual & Monthly).
    • Executing effective admin housekeeping
    • Daily recordings utilities readings where necessary.
    • Prepare weekly statistics report for Management meetings.
    • General typing of reports and assisting with all related Admin
    • Create Works orders on SAP for Maintenance on the Site and Packaging Lines.
    • Confirmation of Works orders requests on Sap.
    • Compiling monthly management reports
    • Assisting where needed with monthly stock count.
    • Assist with the compiling and monitoring of the departments budget.
    • Relevant experience in above KPA’s
    • Have knowledge, background and understanding of OEE reporting on production line performance.

    • Budget and cost controlling experience.
    • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential.

    Risk Controller: Far North

    Purpose of the Position

    To co-ordinate, advise, assist, and implement the organizations Risk and Management program within the Sales and Distribution environment. Furthermore, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring legal compliance and maximum protection of company, property, assets, and employees.  

    KEY RESULT AREAS

    • Organize and co-ordinate the region’s risk control program.  
    • Maintain standardization of documentation and ensure the correct use and understanding at all sites.  
    • Ensure that best practices are applied at all Distribution Centers.
    • Advise management on all non-compliances and suggest corrective actions.
    • Assist sites in identifying training needs.
    • Conduct regular audits and training.
    • Assist Distribution Centers in rectifying noncompliance.
    • Investigate opportunities to optimize the cost of risk in the region.
    • Assist Distribution Centers with risk and security related contract negotiations.
    • Analyze stock losses and where abnormalities exist, initiate investigation and possible solutions to minimize losses.
    • Ensure and assist the Distribution Centers with implementing, understanding, and complying with the Risk Management Program, the OSHACT, and any other relevant risk/security statutory requirements.
    • Manage and report on the Region’s Insurance claims.
    • Provide input to management on Opex and Capex requirements as well as advise on the relevant specifications.
    • Ensure that the monthly risk report (Vehicle or non-vehicle, COIDA, Picking, etc.) is submitted to management timeously.
    • Assist sites with investigations when required (risk, theft, fraud claims, motor vehicle etc.) Including assisting and liaising with SAPS and other 3rd parties.
    • Ensure all relevant risk management system (ISO) documentation is updated.
    • Schedule and chair accident committee meetings as per company policy and procedure.
    • Analyze trends of motor vehicle accidents, incidents and propose recommendations.
    • Take responsibility for projects implemented to ensure high quality standards in compliance with risk.
    • Standards, local authority by laws and SANS code of good practice.
    • Assist with inducting employees during change (WI, WP, evacuation route etc.).
    • Follow the organizations policies and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • A relevant qualification with focus on Health & Safety or Risk management

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

    • A minimum of 3 years broad business background in risk management
    • Computer literacy in all MS office packages
    • Ability to assist and guide and influence on Risk, Health & Safety related matters.
    • Ability to work independently and interact with people on all levels.
    • Ability to plan, control, facilitate, co-ordinate and lead.
    • Ability to work in a team.
    • Sound knowledge of risk management principles and fundamentals

    Switchboard Operator: Wadeville Regional Office (Distribution)

    Purpose of the Position

    To effectively handle and manage the Switchboard and Reception area at our Wadeville Regional Office. In addition, the completion of all reasonable tasks to ensure the efficiency of the office.     Revenue & Margin Growth (RMG) Strategy Manager

    Purpose of the Position

    Highly skilled and versatile Revenue Management Expert who is responsible for driving revenue growth and improving operating margin through effective pricing strategy, mix and margin management, promotional effectiveness, trade terms management, pricing execution, and price compliance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing revenue management initiatives to support our overall business strategy.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Pricing Strategy 

    • Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimise sustainable revenue and profitability across various product lines and customer segments.
    • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and adjust pricing accordingly.
    • Lead the use of advanced RMG tools and analytics (e.g. choice-based conjoint) to ensure pricing strategy is supported by sound data and insights.

    Mix and Margin Management

    • Analyse product mix and margin performance to identify areas for improvement (ensuring a full value chain assessment of different categories and the full P&L impact of pack, product and category mix).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and product management to optimize product offerings and maximise margin potential.

    Promotional Effectiveness

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and campaigns in driving revenue and profitability.
    • Recommend strategies to enhance promotional effectiveness (at a granular SKU, regional, channel and account level) and align them with overall business objectives.

    Trade Terms Management

    • Manage trade terms and discount structures to ensure profitability while maintaining strong relationships with key customers, and remaining cognisant of key interactions such as RTC strategy.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to negotiate favourable terms and resolve pricing-related issues.

    Pricing Execution and Compliance

    • Ensure accurate and timely implementation of pricing strategies. Monitor pricing compliance across channels and markets, identifying and addressing any deviations or violations, and sharing best practice across regions and channels to consistently improve price compliance.

    Agile Approach

    • Be adaptable and agile in adjusting revenue management strategies based on changing market conditions, seasonal demands, and shifting business priorities.
    • Proactively identify emerging trends and opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.

    Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, marketing, and operations, to align revenue management strategies with overall business goals.
    • Foster strong relationships and facilitate collaboration to drive revenue growth and operating margin improvement.

    Performance Analysis

    • Conduct regular performance analysis to measure the effectiveness of revenue management initiatives. Utilise data-driven insights to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for optimization.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
    • Advanced degree or post-grad qualification preferred
    • 5-10 years proven experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, and margin optimization
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights
    • Excellent understanding of market dynamics, pricing methodologies, and revenue management best practices
    • Proficient in using revenue management software and tools
    • Strong business and financial acumen and the ability to align revenue management strategies with overall business objectives
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
