Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, support, optimisation and continuous improvement of the SYSPRO ERP environment across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the SYSPRO ERP environment across test, development and production environments
Monitor system performance and support upgrades, patches, backups and disaster recovery
Manage SYSPRO user accounts, roles, permissions and access controls
Maintain the integrity of master data, including inventory, BOMs, customers, suppliers, warehouses and routing data
Provide 1st and 2nd line SYSPRO support and troubleshoot system-related issues
Liaise with external consultants and service providers where required
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports, SSRS, SQL, Excel and ODBC
Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for ERP improvements and automation
Support system upgrades, projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Support month-end and year-end processes, stock takes and reconciliations
Manage support tickets within agreed service levels
Maintain accurate system documentation and procedures
Provide guidance and training to SYSPRO users where required
Minimum Requirements
Matric/N3 or equivalent
Diploma/Degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems, Finance/Accounting or a related field would be advantageous
3–5 years' experience in SYSPRO ERP administration and support – essential
Experience within manufacturing, distribution or supply chain would be advantageous
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Sound knowledge of SYSPRO modules, ERP workflows, Crystal Reports/SSRS and data analysis
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Experience with reporting and data analysis using Excel/SQL
Basic programming knowledge in .NET, VB or C# would be advantageous
