    System Technician Assistant

    Requirements

    Work Output Description

    • Responsible for the ancillary technical and operational support regarding the installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of closed-circuit television (CCTV), alarm system infrastructure and security systems hardware and software to ensure efficiency and optimal performance. The role also encompasses updating system features to increase its operational productivity and execution of system recoveries.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/Matric Certificate or NQF4 Equivalent Required
    • Registration with PSiRA (The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) Grade C Required
    • 1 Year CCTV Systems Experience Required
    • 1 Year Alarm Systems Experience Required

    Advantageous

    • Advanced Experience in CCTV and Alarm Systems

    Skills and Knowledge

    • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    IT Skills

    • Thorough contemporary knowledge of IT market related developments to support the development of “the right solution”
    • Network and hardware Support and Maintenance knowledge
    • Installation and maintenance of Alarm and CCTV programmes skills

    Physical/Legal Requirements

    • Fit for Duty/Certificate of Fitness
    • Clear Credit/Criminal Record
    • Code 08 Driving License
    • PSiRA: Grade C
