Systems Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract) at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To execute key accounting functions and provide an accurate financial status of all systems across Capitec.
• To prepare and catch up the debtors reconciliation and rentals received in advance reconciliation. 
• The System Accountant will also be responsible to analyse, investigate and resolve exceptions raised from the reconciliation process on a daily basis.

Experience

MINIMUM:

• 2 – 3 years reconciliation experience 

IDEAL:

• Experience in a Financial Services environment.

Qualifications (Minimum)

• A relevant qualification in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Honours Degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance

Knowledge

MINIMUM:

• Management of accounts
• Computerised accounting systems and principles (SAP)
• Financial Analysis and interpretation.
