    Talent and Culture Project Coordinator (JHB Illovo)

    Description
    Primary Purpose of the Job

    • The Talent Development & Culture Coordinator will support talent development initiatives, coordinate performance management processes, drive employee engagement efforts, and promote wellness programs to create a thriving and inclusive work environment. 

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    Talent Development 

    • Plan, coordinate, and implement training programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
    • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness by gathering feedback and tracking career advancement of the talent pool. 
    • Performance Management, Career Development & Succession Planning
    • Support and coordinate performance management processes to drive employee growth and alignment with business objectives.
    • Track and manage performance review cycles, ensuring timely completion and compliance with company policies.
    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to develop and maintain talent pipelines, supporting succession planning efforts.

    Wellness Initiatives

    • Coordinate and schedule exit interviews.
    • Assist the Talent and Culture Specialist in analysing exit.
    • Plan and execute wellness programs and campaigns that align with the BDO Wellness Strategy.

    Employee Engagement 

    • Plan, execute, and monitor employee engagement initiatives.
    • Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of culture and engagement events.
    • Capture and showcase key moments from events through internal communications and reports.

    Requirements
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.

    Experience

    • 2-5 years of experience in talent development, employee engagement, wellness m workplace culture, or HR-related projects.

    Requirements

    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
