We are seeking a qualified and experienced Computer Applications Technology teacher to join our team at pinnacle College Founders Hill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer applications technology and a passion for teaching students the necessary skills to succeed in the digital age.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Computer Applications Technology curriculum
Teach students how to use various software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphic design programs
Assess student progress and provide feedback on their work
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that incorporate computer applications technology skills
Stay informed about current trends and developments in computer applications technology
Provide extra help and support to students who are struggling with the material
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns that may arise
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Teaching certification or licensure in Computer Applications Technology
Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting preferred
Familiarity with various computer applications technology software programs
