We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation Phase IsiZulu Teacher to join our team at Pinnacle College Founders Hill.
The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in IsiZulu and a deep understanding of the foundation phase curriculum.
The teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment for young learners.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the foundation phase curriculum and incorporate IsiZulu language and culture
Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school administration
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Stay updated on best practices in language teaching and incorporate new techniques in the classroom
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Qualified teacher status (PGCE or equivalent)
SACE
Fluency in IsiZulu and a strong understanding of its grammar and syntax
Experience teaching IsiZulu in a foundation phase setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Passion for education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for students
