    Team Leader

    Job Brief

    This role brings commercial strategy to “life” and plays a key role in the success of the organization. Being the Team Leader, you will be responsible for Coaching our partners’ teams (in office and In trade), managing, training and coaching of the Pioneers ,Promotional Ambassadors and Trade Activators  in the region to drive our rate-of-sale and ensure the return-on-investment in all areas.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing, supporting, measuring & motivating the PURA Partners against agreed criteria
    • Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team, Trade activators and Promotional ambassadors of an assigned territory.
    • Managing Partners and eventually Customer Groups (DC) stock an on-hand from a replenishment aspect.
    • Monitoring the performance of the sales team, Trade activators and Promotional ambassadors and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Balanced, profitable value & volume growth across all Channels & Partners & Customer Group with both horizontal outlet expansion supported by ROS off-take, negotiate within set parameters.
    • Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
    • Reaching the sales targets and goals set for your area
    • Weekly and monthly meetings with potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
    • Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers and all key partners.
    • Weekly and monthly  collecting customer feedback and market research and additional monthly  reporting to senior managers on the status quo.
    • Schedule trade visits with partners and sales team members accompanied by action plans and timeous feedback to management.
    • Monitoring actual sales numbers versus targets and implementing corrective measures where applicable.

    Key Requirements:

    • 8 years Sales Management experience in the FMCG /Beverage industry.
    • 50 % of this role will be HORECA and successful previous experience as a HORECA Manager and solid experience in managing Partners or Distributors is required.
    • Related degree would be advantageous.
    • Excellent Computer literacy.
    • Exposure to leading and performance managing a sales team advantageous.
