    Corporate Communications Specialist

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Developing customer communication including customer letters, FAQs and ensuring these are accurate by liaising with various internal divisions (CVM, Marketing, Care Teams, Legal, GE and Channel Teams)
    • Manage content on the MTF portal including the MTF Info mailbox and social media platforms
    • Research and write briefing documents
    • Keep abreast of media trends and keep media lists updated
    • Compile monthly and campaign media reports
    • Coordinate markets and manage monthly CA workshops, agendas and key market updates – this includes supporting in-country teams with ad-hoc communication requirements i.e. press releases, proof reading, academy / business requests such film festival / awards entries etc.
    • Support the Senior Communication specialist on all key ? projects and deliverables
    • Research and discovery to gain insight for new projects, brainstorming ideas and concepts to ensure creative and differentiated content.
    • Coordinate and consult with other relevant marketing and communications functions to align content plans and drive one brand message and collaboration within company and the broader business.
    • Align the communication plan to support products, launches, events and promotions
    • Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to implement marketing initiatives, through defining the target audience, various stakeholders, and appropriate messaging

    Qualifications:

    • A B-Degree in Journalism, Communications or Media.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience specialising in communication
    • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role or agency experience
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
    • Must have excellent writing and editing skills
    • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skill capability are an advantage

    Specialist Events Coordinator

    Key Accountabilities:

    Planning & Organising

    • Organize and co-ordinate internal and external events according to brief.
    • Deliver end-to-end events management services.
    • Take a clear brief from the client and conceptualise creative for the event.
    • Manage guest list and RSVP’s for events.
    • Plan and coordinate events logistics and set-up.
    • Ensure implementation of Brand plans.
    • Order promotional items and ensure their delivery.

    Operational Excellence

    • Crisis management – having alternate plans in place for eventualities
    • Ensure all health and safety aspects of an event are in place

    Event administration and logistics

    • Keep abreast of latest innovation and trends in events management for application in the organization including the latest technology enabled applications for RSVP handling, etc.

    Budgeting & Reporting

    • Budget control – make sure events are done within budget and ensure that suppliers are paid as per agreement
    • Accurate and on-time accounts management of suppliers to ensure supplier accounts are paid on time and against orders
    • Compile detailed activity reports for management review Ensure all documents and photos are saved on the share drive (Sharepoint)

    Relationship Building

    • Provide regular feedback to Event Manager and Client
    • Provide post-event feedback to clients
    • Efficiently manage and leverage events resources and suppliers to ensure a professional quality event
    • Build strong relationships with clients and vendors to deliver on events requirements

    Qualifications:

    • A Degree in Events Management (Post Grad advantageous)

    Experience:

    • At least 5-8 years’ experience in the events coordination role or similar.
    • Three years of experience planning and executing events.
    • Ability to introduce new ideas and foresee potential problems at events.
    • Communication and writing skills adapted to fit different styles, particularly with outside vendors.
    • High attention to detail and the ability to establish priorities.
    •  Ability to work within a budget and very tight timeline. Flexibility to travel and work long hours

    Purpose of the Position:

    • We're on the hunt for a Marketing Automation Specialist with a passion for sports and a keen interest in lifecycle marketing. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping and executing our Customer Value Management (CVM) strategy specifically tailored for our Premier League mobile Showmax streaming product across sub-Saharan Africa.
    • As the Marketing Automation Specialist, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day execution of all CRM marketing initiatives. From crafting engaging email campaigns to orchestrating targeted push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS blasts, you'll be the driving force behind our efforts to connect with sports enthusiasts and maximize customer engagement.
    • We're seeking someone who not only thrives in the world of marketing technology and automation but also possesses a deep understanding of sports culture and fan behavior. Prior experience in executing behavior-based lifecycle marketing campaigns is highly advantageous, especially within the context of sports entertainment.

    Relationship Management

    • Act as a custodian of the Showmax personalized messaging engagement platform you will be responsible for looking at user behavior to leverage insights to drive interactions through email, push messaging, web messaging, in app messages or re-targeting
    • Assist in planning, executing, briefing trigger, lifecycle and marketing related digital messaging across multiple countries
    • Execute in conjunction with marketing and product, A/B testing of messaging to optimize key metrics
    • Manage and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships across multiple teams (Product, Analytics, Dev, Design, in country teams)

    What will you do - Campaign Management

    • Set up, test and send email, push and SMS campaigns.
    • Manage and execute the BAU sports messaging calendar.
    • Analyze and share campaign results with the team.
    • Help developing targeted communications campaign to behavior-based audiences.
    • Run A/B tests to optimize current campaigns and find new opportunities.
    • Work cross-functionally, partnering with technology, data and marketing teams to execute on strategies that drive each of the lifecycle stages. (Lead nurturing / customer onboarding / Engagement / churn management)

    Qualifications

    • A Degree in Business Management / Marketing or equivalent qualification

    Experience and skills

    • A minimum of 5 years of product management / CRM marketing experience.
    • Experience in Digital Marketing / Customer communication through Digital Channels.
    • Customer Lifecycle Management experience (CVM).
    • Strong analytical background.
    • Possess strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, innovative thinking and vision.
    • Media, Telecommunications and/or eCommerce experience preferred.

    Technical Competencies

    • Experience in online CRM and campaign management tools and any other personalised/below the line digital Marketing and engagement tools.
    • Knowledge of how to use tools such as SendGrid, Braze, Salesforce, Silverpop, Mparticle, etc.
    • A good understanding of CRM tools, automated journeys, segmentation & targeted messaging, and Customer Data Platform use cases.
    • Experience in HTML, SQL or other programming language is a plus.
    • Knowledge of email regulations, best practices and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR CCPA, POPIA).

    Senior Engineer: Decoder UI Dev Lead

    Key Performance Objectives

    Operational Delivery:

    • Individual responsibility and contributions for delivering project requirements.

    • Solid experience in Java development for multiple platforms (Windows, Linux and embedded devices preferred)
    • Strong experience in Core Java, Object Orientated principles, design patterns and multi-threading.
    • Database Design and Management tools (SQLite, etc.).
    • Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Strong experience in modern frameworks such as LightningJS, React and Angular preferred.
    • Leadership / Management experience in a senior development role

    Senior Specialist Defensive Systems

    Key Performance Objectives

    Security Operations:

    • Assist the management team in drafting a strategic direction for the function while ensuring that this direction is aligned with that of the CISO.
    • Assist with developing the Security Operations specifically improvements in Cyber Threat investigations
    • Plan, design and implement an overall security management process for the function.

    Qualifications

    Experience

    • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in an Information Security environment with specific focus on working with security incident and event management
    • Forensics and breach management experience is critical
    • A proven track record of experience in the IT and Information Security Industry is critical.
    • Understanding the influence of service support services on successful service delivery is critical.
    • Proven knowledge and experience in the Technology Operations Environment will be an advantage.
