Duties:
Analysing and interpreting reinsurance claims financial information
Documenting of existing reinsurance team internal claims process
Follow up of outstanding recoveries with Reinsurance Brokers or Reinsurers
Verifying settlement amounts and monitoring third-party debtor balances
Reconciliation, management and oversight of all reinsurance claims related balance sheet accounts
Prepare journals to transfer recoveries received from the Reinsurance Brokers or Reinsurers to the business unit.
Streamlining of processes
Education and Experience:
BCom Accounting minimum
At least 5 years’ experience in the reinsurance space is compulsory
Thorough knowledge of end to end full reinsurance claims function is essential
