We are looking for an exceptional technical analyst to join our Portfolio Monitoring team. The role will require you to become a key driver of the monthly flash financial reporting cycle, helping portfolio companies and deal teams to process and analyse their reporting in a timely and methodical manner.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding Excel skills alongside a strong understanding of financial statement structure, able to perform under pressure and consistently produce quality reporting output.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with deal teams and portfolio companies to prepare and process submissions of their monthly financials – the “monthly Flash process” – utilising the Chronograph portfolio monitoring system and its proprietary Excel Add-In.
Support the Portfolio Monitoring team in producing timely, accurate and insightful analysis, utilising Excel, Power Query and other related software at your disposal.
Become a competent user of Chronograph, CVC’s core portfolio monitoring system.
Maintain and enhance system datasets, helping ensure data consistency and governance, understanding how the data – and data quality – plays a key role in CVC’s technical architecture.
Assist with the migration of legacy Excel (and other structured and unstructured) datasets to Chronograph.

Internal: Portfolio Monitoring Team, Data & Analytics Team, Technology & Innovation Team, and other key data stakeholders.
External: Portfolio companies, external advisors, external data vendors.
Reports to: Associate, Portfolio Monitoring / Director, Data & Analytics.
