Technical Buyer at Danté Personnel Recruitment

R20 000 CTC per month
Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ technical buying experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in mining equipment, vehicle manufacturing, OEM, or industrial equipment sectors.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs

Key Responsibilities

• Procure mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Convert engineering requirements into purchasing activities within the ERP/MRP system.
• Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, and performance.
• Ensure material availability to support production schedules.
• Expedite critical items and support inventory planning.
