    Technical Field Service Manager - CR

    About the opportunity

    We are seeking a Technical Field Services Representative to provide exceptional on-site sales, customer service and support to our customers across Africa. This is a vital role in managing customer relationships, growing sales volume and becoming a trusted partner embedded within the mining customer base.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Develop relationships with our existing client base and contribute to the overall sales revenue through best-in-class service.
    • Deliver technical and application support on-site to customers, with regular engagement.
    • Collect and analyse competitor information, sharing feedback on product requirements and market intelligence.
    • Conduct inventory management and stock take optimisations.
    • Implement product trials, monitor trials and record data required and customer focused solutions.
    • Be an ethical ambassador for CR and CR products to grow our profile within the marketplace, whilst simultaneously working collaboratively with all facets of CR business to improve client interaction
    • Regular on-site inspections and visits
    • Forming and maintaining strong relationships with customers’ on-site personnel
    • Resolving any technical product issues that arise on-site

    What we are looking for

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Hold a mechanical degree or trade qualification
    • Experience in the mining industry with advanced knowledge of the mining industry in Africa
    • Proven interpersonal skills - positive and energetic approach, problem-solver, customer service excellence and ability to work autonomously.
    • A proactive, innovative style good at building customer relationships on site.
    • Strong customer service attitude and approach
    • Ability to learn our products and proactively seek selling opportunities
    • Strong fault finding and independent problem solving skills
    • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Africa
