    Technical Key Account Manager (2241)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Business Related Diploma (3 years)/ HEM, Millwright or Relevant industry related Trade Certificate

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 10 – 15 years’ experience in an OEM related field of which 3 years tactical management experience. Established (and proven) network in the Mining/Construction Industry, mine planning exposure (related to equipment), Engineering Maintenance Strategies, and excellent Project Management and Coordination track record.

    Required experience:

    • Experience with Heavy Earthmoving equipment
    • Strong technical and mechanical experience
    • Sales experience in Aftermarket part and service

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    • SOX – Sales process,
    • MS-Excel (Advanced)
    • SAP
    • MS-Word (Intermediate)
    • MS-PowerPoint (Advanced)
    • Valid Drivers’ license

    SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

    • Horizon Planning, Human Capital Management, Financial Management, Contracts/Supplier Management, Corporate Governance, Liaison- and Change Management, Continuous Leadership Development
    • Maintains networks and relationships for mutual benefit of the customer and Komatsu
    • Assesses needs/opportunities with regard to strategic/key customers
    • Plans and forecasts long term revenue using analytical tools and data from Komatsu systems
    • Initiates & Coordinates special studies and projects
    • Coordinates the Sales and Tender process
    • Monitors contractual agreements/SLAs via the operational structure
    • Resolves complex queries in conjunction with Executive Management of Komatsu
    • Monitors customer service
    • Continually assesses opportunities for After Market sales
    • Continuously improves processes for delivery of customer service
    • Reports on metrics per strategic customer – Aftermarket sales, issues, problems, resolution, on-selling, cross-selling
