A relevant National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Instrumentation Engineering.
Registered as candidate with ECSA.
Three (3) to five (5) years’ relevant experience.
SAP proficiency preferred.
Computer proficiency in MS Office applications.
Code B driver’s license preferred.
Key Performance Areas
Responsible for conducting daily calibration, verification and maintenance of laboratory equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairs of faulty instruments to ensure operational efficiency.
Support, test and assist with the set-up and equipment and meters for testing and ensuring adherence to SANAS guidelines.
Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Execute planned maintenance schedules and system checks, perform root- cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Prepare RFQ’s, tenders and supporting procurement evaluations and ensure timely completion of tasks while effectively communicating progress.
Liaise with suppliers and external consultants regarding equipment and services, support continuous and improvement initiatives and recommend upgrades.
