Key Performance Areas
Coordinating preliminary investigations of equipment and resources, and presents findings to district management.
Providing support in feasibility studies of plant, equipment, premises, systems, in order to compile a comprehensive database on each item to produce a full history.
Conducting site inspections/meetings regarding the provision and possible deviation of electrical services.
Assist with take-over inspections on new distribution network projects and on requested maintenance and planned work.
Assisting with the implementation of planned maintenance programmes performed at the various districts.
Assist with development of specifications for tendering for the acquisition of equipment and services.
Assist with preparing of investigation / productivity reports referring to statistical data and qualitative information related to service delivery execution.
Checking the budget allocations for specific acquisitions, interventions and/ or activities required to sustain service delivery levels and preparing and submitting requisitions/ motivations for approval.
Supervising as authorized person, the labourers and assistants during performance of their daily tasks.
Responsible for the health and safety of personnel and the safe execution of work.
