Technician - Geomatics

- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 2 years
- Location Western Cape
- City Cape Town

Requirements
- Relevant three-year tertiary qualification in Geomatics
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in a Geomatics environment
- The incumbent needs to be reasonably fit to be able to carry out strenuous field work, in all weather conditions, if required
- Valid Code B driver’s licence.
Key Performance Areas
- Support departments with Geomatics Survey operations in compliance with the Land Survey Act
- Responsible for the provision of Topographic and Engineering Surveys
- Responsible for Town Survey Mark (TSM) maintenance
- Supervise Senior Technical Assistants during construction of TSMs
- Responsible for precise levelling
- Responsible for the provision of pre-marking and control surveys for mapping projects
- Provide a consultancy service to internal clients.
