Temp Au pair | Paarl at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: 

• Process all school communications to be on top of kids schedules and activities
• Plan kids' schedules ahead of time (what they need, clothes, lunch boxes etc)
• Prep daily for their activities (lunch boxes, clothes etc)
• Drive them to and from their activities
• Assist with homework
• Assist with music practise
• Assist with tests & exams planning & preparation
• Can assist / oversee food prep at home with the help of the mother / domestic lady
• Can join them for gym or other training/exercise
• No need to join the family for weekends or holidays

Special Requirements:

School schedules are busy and stressful, emotions at this age can be something the ideal person needs to be:

• Very organised
• A very positive, joyful, supportive and encouraging person
• Someone who can be loving and supportive, but who is able to keep the order / be strict at the same time.
• An energetic loving person who is up for a bit of a challenge / adventure.
• Maths and accounting background can be very helpful
• Willing to join them for exercise, gym can be very helpful (sporty person, outdoors)
• Being from the area or from a similar school can be helpful (to understand the school culture)
• Afrikaans is important
• Own car
• She needs to be presentable
• Age can be relative, as energy and personality may not be dependant on a person's age

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
