    Temp Customer Support Representative

    Job Description
    This role will be involved in ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered on time as per agreed service level. Completing daily activities in Customer Support include order processing, shipment tracking, resolving issues of warehouse with customers and other functional areas. Assist the Logistics Manager with the warehouse activities and providing day to day support (both proactive and reactive) on any of the issues already referred to, as well as response to immediate/unusual situations.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • SALES ADMINISTRATIVE AND INITIATIVES SUPPORT
    • Loads and monitors customer orders from receipt to goods received
    • Communication of order confirmations to customers
    • Purchasing orders placed with supplier
    • Resolves customer queries in collaboration with team
    • Focuses on schedule development and provides follow up on the execution of order scheduling
    • Follow up with transporters to ensure timely delivery of products
    • Monitors stock availability and orders and performs various tasks necessary to schedule
    • Inventory administration including transfers
    • Item loading
    • To confirm product have been delivered as loaded and to resolve discrepancies
    • Responsible for maintenance of Item master in oracle
    • Liaising with Source and Suppliers/Couriers and getting good cleared from customs
    • Assist warehouse in terms of stock accuracy, timely receipt supporting dispatch of material, 5S
    • Daily reporting to management against Organizational targets
    • Participate in Stock counts

    RELATIONSHIPS

    • The Temp Customer Support Representative role reports directly to the General Manager, Sub Saharan Africa – Water Quality Platform.

    • Field Sales Associates
    • Field Service Associates

    EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

    Qualifications

    • Oracle (advantageous) and MS Office knowledge (mandatory)
    • Sound interpersonal/ influencing skills would also be required with respect to internal & external customers
    • Communication skills
    • Experience in handling logistics
    • Delivering Results Through Others
    • Warehouse operations
    • Champion customer focus

    Skills And Competencies

    • Must have a valid driver’s license, and a driving record that is acceptable to Danaher
    • Knowledge and use of personal computers, and common business software (MS Office)
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent administrative skills
