    Territory Sales - Inside Sales Representative - Senior

    • We are looking for a talented Territory Sales - Inside Sales Representative – Senior to join our team specializing in Sales for our Service Operations Department in Gamagara, Northern Cape, South Africa.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Deliver end-to-end sales support across the full sales cycle, converting inbound and outbound opportunities into revenue.
    • Identify, develop, and capture new sales opportunities through proactive lead generation, follow-ups, and cold outreach.
    • Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets through cross-selling, up-selling, and repeat business initiatives.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships that enhance loyalty, satisfaction, and long-term business value.
    • Provide high-quality sales support by managing quotations, RFPs, and complex customer inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.
    • Ensure operational excellence by maintaining accurate CRM data, forecasting, and adherence to Cummins sales processes and systems.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales activities with inventory, service delivery, and customer expectations.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement by analysing trends, resolving recurring issues, and mentoring team members to strengthen overall sales performance.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Demonstrate a strong results-driven mindset with the ability to consistently achieve and exceed quarterly sales growth targets.
    • Leverage a broad understanding of multiple product and service segments to identify and maximise diverse sales opportunities.
    • Maintain disciplined performance tracking and accountability to monitor progress, adjust strategies, and stay aligned with business objectives.
    • Apply a proactive and adaptable sales approach to drive growth across different markets, customers, and solution offerings.

    Education/ Experience:

    • University or college degree in the field of Sales or Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience required.
    • Experience as a quote analyst or another sales support function desirable.
    • Experience with customer relationship management software desirable
    • Experience with other software-based sales and business tools desirable.
    • Limited travel may be required.
