Test Manager - Cape Town at Juru Holdings

The Test Manager will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all testing activities to ensure the highest levels of quality throughout each testing phase, including unit testing, systems integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Maintain the Test Approach with support and guidance from the Inlumi (Implementation partner) team, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Define Test Plans in collaboration with Project Managers, Workstream Leads, and the Inlumi Team.
• Manage all required test demand and forecasting in the test team.
• Recruit and allocate testers according to demand, ensuring the right skills and expertise are available.
• Manage resources and allocations, assisting in scoping and planning test efforts.
• Estimate and report on testing efforts issued from the Test Team.
• Escalate test-related issues to management and provide comprehensive reports on overall progress.
• Take responsibility for quality control, implementing measures to uphold high-quality standards.
• Report on quality metrics, highlighting trends and issues, and drive continuous incremental improvements.
• Monitor and report on test progress throughout the testing phases.
• Ensure the proper use of testing tools and adherence to test processes and methodologies.
• Ensure the team follows testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.
