    Trade Marketing Specialist

    Job Description    

    • The effective execution o the brand marketing plans,innovation pipeline, trade projects and annual marketing plan to deliver according to key elements within the strategic framework.
    • Collaborate closely with KO frontline marketing team to ensure alignment with the brand plan.
    • Country Sales Execution teams to ensure alignment on the execution of the annual promotion plan.
    • Provide promotional and activation support to Customer marketing, regional sales and customer teams, for developed programmes, to drive the performance thereof.
    • Commercialisation project managers for the execution of new product launches.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Activate the national brand calendar and programme by translating it to local brand promotions for all regions.
    • Develop the briefing strategy and guidelines for execution, according to the relevant activation platform, for customer and regional sales teams to ensure execution against the ABP.
    • Manage, coordinate and monitor the execution of promotions and brand campaigns, in line with company procedures, to ensure execution against the DME and ABP.
    • Coordinate the ordering and distribution of Point of Sales (POS) material, according to the ABP campaigns and promotions, against DME, to ensure that POS reaches sales districts timeously.
    • Review and evaluate promotions and campaigns to feedback on opportunities and risks, to support continuous improvement in relation to campaign and promotional development.
    • Provide promotional and activation support to regional sales and customer teams, for developed programmes, to drive the performance thereof.
    • Trade marketing and launch related communication and support for new product launches and discontinuations, to ensure execution against the ABP.
    • Collaborate with the Customer Marketing Managers to identify and implement innovative trade solutions.

    Skills, Experience & Education    

    • BCom or Marketing degree.
    • Post graduate qualification will be advantageous.
    • 5-6 years relevant experience within a FMCG sales or trade marketing environment.
