    Transport & Logistics Supervisor

    Job Purpose and Impact

    • The Transport & Logistics Supervisor will ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws and regulations and proper use of transportation management systems. Inventory Control & physical risk management and Port & Import & Export Logistics.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Execute end to end claims resolution.
    • Coordinate processes with business teams and carriers, conduct investigation and root cause analysis, prepare and provide proper documentation and follow up on improvement actions.
    • Plan, coordinate and supervise carrier activities to ensure achievement of service level agreements and monitor monthly and quarterly close activities to ensure accuracy and timely completion and meet key performance indicators.
    • Provide oversight for data entry and data management and for the collection, organization, analysis measurement, evaluation and reporting of metrics.
    • Custom Clearance operation management, coordinating the relation with container agent, port Authorities, SARS and all related parties.
    • Export permit follow up with State Veterinary and export document supply.
    • Constant look at customs optimisation and efficiency 
    • Close communication and partnership with Customer Services, Planning, Commercial, FP & A, Accounting and GMS teams.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
    • Advanced spreadsheet experience
    • Experience in transportation and logistics roles
    • Knowledge of supply chain and operations functions
    • Minimum four years of directly related work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with enterprise resource planning applications
    • Minimum two years of supervisory experience
    • Knowledge of root cause analysis processes
